Jane Eckford FinstLM, FRSA is known and recognised for her pioneering career improving local authority responsiveness to financial and social vulnerability in the communities they serve. 
 
As Director for Customer and a Chief Officer she has been dedicated to supporting diversity and inclusion in the delivery of more joined-up public services, and in creating employment opportunity through new models of working.

As a consequence of her impact, particularly in Liverpool, Jane was sought out as a specialist advisor on inclusive customer engagement across industry and government.

A founder member of The People’s Powerhouse movement she remains dedicated to amplifying all the diverse voices across our communities to improve decision making made on their behalf.

Jane is a Non Executive Director for the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE), and for Age Concern Liverpool & Sefton. She has a personal interest in the impact of digitally informed decision making on the most vulnerable, supporting Open Data Manchester in the development of its Declaration for Ethical Data Use.

Jane is also an executive leadership coach, carer, and author.
